From Cibolo, Texas, Kyra is currently a professional basketball player whose journey has been marked by faith, perseverance, and a passion for people.

Her collegiate career began at Duke University where she quickly learned she was more than a basketball player. Overcoming 3 consecutive ACL surgeries, Kyra’s relied on her faith in God and her village of support to continue to grow personally and professionally. She returned to the court, and in 5 years obtained both her Bachelors and Masters degrees as a Blue Devil. In her final collegiate season Kyra went home to the University of Texas and gained a second Masters degree while going to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament.

In her 4th year playing professionally, the game of basketball has taken her across the world. From the heart of Europe to the picturesque landscapes of Oceania, Kyra has been blessed to play in 7 different countries including Turkey, Slovakia, New Zealand, France, Latvia, Mexico, and Greece.

Kyra has always known the game of basketball to be a vehicle for growth, connection, and creating positive change. Her impact goes beyond what she has accomplished on the court, exemplified by her heart to serve others and inspire the next generation. In her pursuit of excellence, Kyra strives to inspire others to dream big, trust the process, and embrace their journeys.
